Ron Montez began his dance career at an early age. His sister, Bettina, was a dance teacher and as Ron puts it “she forced me to start learning!” Kidding aside, Ron has been fortunate to enjoy a very successful dance career through his hard work and dedication.
Ron Montez and his partner Liz Curtis were the undefeated 7-Times U.S. International Latin Dance Champions. Ron says the thrill on winning the first U.S. Championship title was an unforgettable experience. Another memorable moment was the first time he became a finalist at the World’s Latin Dance Championships.
When he has spare time, Ron enjoys reading, walking, music and family activities. His favorite movies are It’s a Wonderful Life and Gladiator; and one of his favorite books is Mutiny on the Bounty. Ron says he is most proud of fatherhood, husband hood and dance!
Ron says about Dancer Avenue Studio - "They have an excellent staff that teach a variety of dance styles and the studio provides a friendly environment for students to learn."

About 6 years ago, Anne Herron and her friends begin going to various dance studios that provided a dance lesson and social dancing. She eventually found Stardance Studio, began taking group classes and fell in love with it all. After three months, she began taking private lessons with the goal of entering Pro/Amateur dance competitions.
Her hobbies include golfing, martial arts, musical theater and reading. Her favorite movie is the British Film Saving Grace, with Brenda Blythen (not TV's Holly Hunter). She states that "it is a great, funny, riotous movie!"
Anne says she thoroughly enjoys dancing the Viennese Waltz with a professional partner. While competing, she loves the exhilarating feeling she gets when she is in a huge ballroom, listening to wonderful music and seeing the swirling colors of other dancers. It's like being in a dream -"I'm dressed in a beautiful ball gown dancing with my partner who is wearing a white tie and tails. Pure delight!"
Anne states that Dancer Avenue Studio instructors are enthusiastic and supportive! The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. She says, "I've had so many great times, trips, competitions and parties, all while improving my dancing."
